Business email on your own domain
Last updated: 2026-09-14
Mail from your own domain means your messages arrive from an address that carries your project's name, not a free provider's. This guide covers what you need and how it runs.
What you need
Three things, and the third is the one people forget:
- A domain you own; any domain works, even before a site exists.
- One mailbox per person who answers customers, with clear names.
- MX, SPF, and DKIM records set correctly, so providers trust your mail.
Why it matters
Customers open mail from a serious domain more readily, and the mailbox providers themselves treat a correctly configured domain better. The address is part of how you are read.
How we set it up
Order business email from the store and the setup starts after payment; if a step needs a hand, we reach you immediately. The credentials are shown to you once, so save them when they appear.
Common questions
Can I move my existing mail?
Yes. Old messages are moved when the mailbox is set up, arranged with you over the conversation.
How many mailboxes do I need?
Start with today's need: one mailbox per person who answers customers. You can add more later at the same per-mailbox price.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The mailbox works with the standard mail apps on phones and computers.
